As an Apto Resources Associate – whether salary-based or contractor – you are welcomed into our sponsorship program. Apto Resources is a collegiate organisation supporting those wanting to formalise their existing qualifications or expand their skills. Too often, we discover talented individuals with experience believe they can’t re-enter defence, even in an administrative role. Apto Resources helps our Associates’ realise their true breadth of experience and transform those skills into a marketable CV that opens doors to new opportunities.

Who do we work with?
We work with civilians wanting to begin a career in defence, and past defence employees (both civilian and uniformed) wanting to re-enter the industry. As a recognised Defence Industry Support Partner (DISP), we sponsor associates seeking to obtain security clearances for defence and other related industries. Apto Resources currently sponsors the following security clearances:
Baseline
Negative Vetting Level 1, and
Negative Vetting Level 2
Each clearance level will determine the classified materials an individual will be able to access and work with. Generally, baseline clearances will be able to access classified resources up to and including ‘protected,’ while NV1 and NV2 clearances can access resources classified as ‘secret’ and ‘top secret’ respectively.
Once you have recognised your true skills, rounded them out with industry qualifications and obtained a security clearance we will work with you to secure a role. Apto Resources work with defence and defence-related entities via panels, tenders, and other partner organisations. We collaborate with selected recruitment firms that also share our values, allowing our associates to step into their new roles with confidence.
